
Ky-mani , who is nearing completion of his third album which is yet to be released, is certainly a star. In February of 1976, Ky-mani was the son of the famous Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champion, Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. Ky-mani refers to an East African term meaning adventurous travelers, and as a man living up to his name every album, or trip will be an exciting one. The musical journey began in the year 1999 with The Journey. The artist was a multifaceted one that was looking for his own musical niche. Many More Roads (Grammy nominated) was Ky-mani's "traditional" reggae album. The album brought out Kymani's maturation. Many More Roads and The Journey were well-received worldwide. This established Ky-Mani's standing as an artist of her own. Ky-Mani mixes roots reggae with hip-hop R&B, and contemporary jazz to form his unique sound.
