Amy Smart is an American former model and actress. Amy Smart was born and raised California USA began her modelling in Italy. In 1996, she made her debut as an actress in the TV film Her Costly Affair. She struggled to get the role she wanted in Starship Troopers. Amy had a difficult time making the switch from modeling to acting because models aren't usually thought of as to be actors of any kind. They're often given small roles that aren't important.
