Amy Smart has been a model, actress as well as a former American. Amy Smart, born and raised California USA began her modelling in Italy. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film that she played her first part in, was her debut performance. Her fight to secure a part on Starship Troopers, a film with mainly minor roles was a gruelling battle. Amy struggled to make the transition from modeling to acting, as model actors aren't generally considered to be actors of any kind. Models are often only given minor roles that aren't important. Amy was determined to succeed and she eventually landed larger parts beginning with The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. She then ventured into the leading roles with the 2005s romantic comedy film Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy found her recognition after more than ten years of working. Amy was later a star in major movies like the Crank Series alongside Jason Statham, and Shameless.
