Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin is a Canadian as well as a New Zealand actress. Paquin, born in Winnipeg and was raised by Wellington Paquin's father, was first seen on stage as Flora McGrath. For this part, she was awarded an Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress in the romantic drama The Piano at the young age of 11. She was the second-youngest winner in Oscar History. Paquin portrayed Frankie Addams as a child in the television adaptation of Carson McCullers novel The Member of the Wedding. Paquin played the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's 1997 film Amistad. She played teenage girls in of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) as well as the character of the polexia Aphrodisa groupie as part of Almost Famous (2000).
