Fawn Mckay
Fawn MCK Brodie was born 15th September 1915 in Ogden Utah. She was a member of the Mormon Church's very first family, Fawn McKay directed her ingenious creative writing skills and impressive abilities in research to create an amazing psycho-historical account of Joseph Smith, published in 1945. The book was titled"No Man is able to know My History. This title is taken from the funeral sermon given by Joseph Smith, creator of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. The preacher shocked the audience when he said saying: "You don't even know my name. There is no way to know the depths of my soul." My story is not known to any one. Nobody knows my story. Fawn, 29 years old was a writer. Fawn has taken on the mantle of writing since the day he began. Some have rebuked him, while others have deified. There are a few who have come to a diagnosis. The documents are missing, it's that they're so inconsistent. It is a daunting task to put together the documents, of separating firsthand accounts from third-hand plagiarism of fitting Mormon as well as non-Mormon stories into a mosaic that makes credible the history. It is fascinating and informative. Fawn Brodie's life as a professional was dedicated to this goal. The fruits of her research as well as her writing earned her world-wide fame: Thaddeus Stevens. The Devil's Drive (1959) The Slaughter of the South. The life of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon and An Intimate Historiography (1974).
